RED 1927/1928. Editor, design Karel Teige. The VERY RARE and most important and influential Devetsil publication. It became the prime method of dissemination of Constructivism and Poetism, covering not just the work of the Devětsil members in Czechoslovakia but also developments across western Europe. Contributors included Nezval, Seifert, Gropius, Moholy-Nagy, Soupault, Toyen and Štyrský, Picasso, Tzara, Mondrian, Lissitzky, and many others. There were also themed issues; number 9 for 1928 contained Teige and Nezval's Manifesty Poetismu, others were dedicated to Bauhaus, Soviet culture, Apollinaire and Marinetti.
